07 February 2015 – 3rd Grand Eucharistic Adoration

The Don Bosco Days with the Lord Movement, a community of young people centered on Christ, would like to invite you to the 3rd Grand Eucharistic Adoration (GEA) on 7 February 2015, from 4PM to 9PM (4PM-6PM: Pre-adoration activity; 6PM-9PM: Adoration proper) to be held within the premises of Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong.

The event seeks to gather brothers and sisters in Christ in a night of solemn prayer and adoration to the Blessed Sacrament. This is one of the many ways through which the Movement hopes to realize it’s response to the call for New Evangelization.

With 2015 as the Year of the Poor, and in light of the Pope’s visit to the Philippines during the start of the year, the 3rd GEA is dubbed as “Daop – Isang Katawan, Isa Kay Kristo”, and revolves around the theme of encountering Christ in the Poor.

To help defray the operational costs for the GEA, a humble contribution of Php 20.00/attendee will be requested. To facilitate faster and orderly entry, attendees may also pre-register through the link: bit.ly/registergea2015, or by accomplishing the attached GEA 2015 Manual Registration Form and sending it to: grandadoration@gmail.com. 11 January 2014 – Grand Eucharistic Adoration

Don Bosco Days with the Lord Movement, a formation group of young people – students and young professionals – most of whom are alumni of various Don Bosco schools, is inviting you to the 2nd Grand Eucharistic Adoration on 11 January 2014 at the Magone and Savio Domes of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati.

Specifically, the second Grand Eucharistic Adoration is anchored on the following objectives:

* To be united with and to respond to the Pope’s call for New Evangelization
* To echo to the young people the message from the recently concluded Philippine Conference for New Evangelization
* To inspire devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and live the teachings of  St. John Bosco, “…love Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and you shall be truly happy.”

Grand Eucharistic Adoration

Call to Holiness is the theme for the 2014 Grand Eucharistic Adoration entitled  iTune-Click.Play.Share. Amidst the world’s distractions, the challenge is to TUNE in to the call of Jesus. Amidst the disharmony of misleading calls, the challenge is to choose Him: CLICK on His invitation. Amidst the noise and turmoil, the invitation is to be in sync with Him: PLAY His melody. Amidst this weary world, the urging is to allow Him to resonate in us: SHARE His boundless goodness.

The adoration is from 6:00pm to 9:00pm but the grounds will be open at 3:30pm. Those who will come early are encouraged to take part in other activities that will transpire between 3:30pm to 6:00pm. A solidarity share of P20.00 per attendee will help defray the substantial costs involved. See you there!
