Last year, YouthPinoy, a group of online missionaries formed by the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Youth and CBCP Media Office, sparked greater interest in evangelizing the “digital continent” through the hugely successful 1st Catholic Social Media Summit (CSMS) last July 2012. It was a gathering of almost 500 participants from all over the country.
With the continuing urgency of proclaiming the Gospel using new media, once again, the YouthPinoy is inviting you to the Catholic Social Media Summit Version 2.0 (CSMS2.0) on 23-24 November 2013 at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Msgr. Paul Tighe, the Secretary of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Social Communications will be the keynote speaker of the CSMS2.0.
The organizers opened the registration last 16 September 2013. With its early bird promo, the first 500 to register until 30 September 2013 will pay the fee of P1,000.00 instead of the regular fee of P1,200.00. This promo is applicable only to participants registering from the Philippines. The rate for international participants is USD 30.00 per person exclusive of bank charges.
